Hoheria populnea Tincture 1:5 100ml
Also known as Houheria, lacebark or ribbonwood, Houhere grows to around 10 metres tall although where it reaches the subalpine zone it is often smaller. Houhere has lovely white scented flowers in summer/autumn. Well known for their fibrous, lacy inner bark that was traditionally used for fine weaving.
Houhere soothes tissue and is especially soothing for the digestive tract, respiratory system and all mucous membranes including eyes, ears and all moist surfaces. Supports perspiration when poisoned by karaka, katipo or tutu.
